Corporate
In this section, you can see samples of the corporate videos Milton 2 has worked on over the past ten years. In most cases, Stephen wrote and edited the videos. Some were also shot and directed by Stephen as well. Many were produced for hospitals, as well as environmental organizations. If you are looking to make an accurate yet entertaining video for your organization, you’ve come to the right place. Please take a look and see what is possible for your needs.

In addition to video work, Milton 2 has also designed web sites for non-profit clients, as well as created interactive presentations for hospitals and environmental organizations. These can be video or animation-based, for the web or CD-ROM handouts. Please check out our interactive section to see some examples.

Mision: Zafirovsky
In November of 2006, Stephen was approached to create tribute video to Mike Zafirovsky, the new chairman of Nortel Networks. The video was to be shown at a gala event held by a Macedonian organization, which wanted to celebrate Mr Zafirovsky’s rag to riches story as a Macedonian immigrant to North America. The trick was that Mr Zafirovsky was not available to be interviewed. So the entire video adopted a Mission Impossible theme, with stealth interviews to discover the truth about Mr Zafirovsky.

Dr Michael Baker
In June of 2006, The Princess Margaret Hospital featured a tribute to Dr Michael Baker as part of its annual fundraising dinner. Stephen was hired to take a series of interviews with staff members and turn them into an entertaining and heart-warming tribute to Dr Baker. The result was a whimsical introduction to a multi-faceted individual who not only saves lives, but can sing in operas and is an excellent musician.

  • Environment
  • Rubber Duck
  • Lake Simcoe
In recent years, Milton 2 has been asked to produce some videos for Environmental Defence. This organization has been pivotal in raising public awareness about household toxins, and in establishing a green belt around Toronto. Two of its key members, Rick Smith and Bruce Lourie, wrote a best-selling book, Slow Death by Rubber Duck, detailing an experiment they conducted on themselves. Milton 2 filmed the experiment, and this footage was used to promote the book.

Slow Death by Rubber Duck
In 2008, Milton 2 was asked to film an odd experiment. Two members of Environmental Defence,a green advocacy group, were going to lock themselves in an apartment for two days to expose themselves to common household chemicals. They wanted Milton 2 to film the experiment, as they took blood tests before and after the lock up. The riddle was whether normal exposure to the chemicals in shampoos, fish, carpet cleaners, etc… could be registered in their blood in even a short time. Milton 2 filmed them in the apartment and after.

The experiment and the book were both a success. The concentrations of chemicals in their blood did rise, often in shocking amounts, providing a solid foundation for the book they wrote in the months after the experiment. A best-seller in Canada, and now garnering lots of attention in the U.S. press, Slow Death by Rubber Duck started with what you can see in this video. Milton 2 filmed, wrote, narrated and edited the film.
