Event Filming
Many events aren't just worth attending, they are worth remembering and sharing with others. Companies are increasingly asking M2P to film major speeches, events and fundraisers so they can be seen on websites, YouTube and DVD for years to come. We have filmed famous authors, like Margaret Atwood, fundraisers organized by NHL all-stars, and conferences for insurance companies and universities. This section will give you a taste of what's possible. As of 2012, all filming is done in full HD.The longer videos have been shortened to five minutes, in case you get hooked. If you want to see the rest, follow the web addresses at the end of those videos.

If you have an event you would like to have filmed, please send us an email .

This section provides examples of the kind of videos that can be made of conferences and speeches. Most of our shoots feature two high definition cameras, so we can get shots of the crowds and the speaker. This also makes it easier to capture Powerpoint slides so they can appear full screen for the viewing audience.

If you have a event you would like filmed, please send us an email. Our rates are very reasonable.

Margaret Atwood
In 2011, Margaret Atwood appeared at Bloor Street United Church to give the annual Craddock lecture, before a packed house. She spoke on the theme of religion in Western life, drawing on the ideas she had explored in her last two science fiction novels. This video was shot in SD. The full video can be seen here.

University of Toronto:
"Religion and Public Policy"
In 2012, M2P was asked to film a day-long conference at the University of Toronto, featuring theologians and religious activists from all over the world. The event was held to celebrate the birthday of Lois Wilson, a former Senator, and the first woman to be the Moderator of the United Church of Canada. In this video, one of six, Bishop Bärbel Wartenberg-Potter of Germany speaks to the conference. To see all of the videos, please click here.

  • Doug Gilmour's
    Dougieball
Although M2P has made many videos for fundraisers, lately we have been asked to film some of the fundraisers themselves. Some fundraisers feature many speeches, and some awards. Others, however, are very lively events as this video made for Doug Gilmour's Dougieball slow pitch softball tournament attests. For more on the event, please visit Doug Gilmour's site.

Dougieball
In July of 2012, M2P was asked to film Doug Gilmour's first annual Dougieball fundraiser. Gilmour's years as an NHL all-star enabled him to call on a who's who of current and former hockey greats to come out and play for the event. We filmed the game with two cameras in HD, allowing us to create a fast-paced, fun record of the event, including lots of action and interviews from famous sports stars.
